VOIP GSM GATEWAY

Businesses that have recently installed or upgraded their phone system will be aware of it's VoIP capability and will want to make some or full use of the VoIP capability and not only communicate over IP within the enterprise, but also outside the enterprise.  As well as using SIP Trunk services for inbound and outbound calls using a VoIP Telephone Service provider, businesses can now integrate a VoIP GSM Gateway to enable calls to be made directly over the mobile phone network using a standard GSM Mobile Phone SIM Card.

VoIP GSM Gateway products can offer significant cost-savings for enterprises, with many mobile phone tariffs offering free calls between mobile phones on the same plan. This means that by using a few SIM cards within the same mobile plan as the rest of the company mobile phones, calls from the office phone system can be made via the VoIP GSM Gateway to external staff using company mobile phones, free of charge. 

An extra advantage of using VoIP GSM gateways is the mobile extension capabilities of most modern phone systems which will allow external users with a mobile phone to receive calls directly from their customers as though their mobile phone was an extension of the company phone system.  When combined with the free calls this makes the use of a VoIP GSM Gateway a very cost effective and practical solution to maximise the benefits of the mobile extension.

We offer VoIP GSM Gateway products from two main manufacturers, who both offer reliable and competitive solutions.  

The first of these is Portech, who manufacture the MV range of SIP GSM Gateways that are ideal for connection to Asterisk Based VoIP Phone Systems.  The Portech VoIP GSM Gateway range includes the following models:-

The second range of VoIP GSM Gateway products that we offer are the Onestream range from Telecom FM who have been manufacturing GSM Gateways for analogue and ISDN applications since 2001.  The Telecom FM Onestream range will work with most VoIP enabled phone systems and includes some gateways that will connect to traditional PSTN or ISDN phone systems to provide both GSM and VoIP routing.  This means that the Telecom FM Onestream VoIP GSM Gateways work with the latest VoIP Phone systems, as well as converting traditional analogue and ISDN phone systems to VoIP, with built in VoIP and GSM Routing.
